Haunted House – What would you do?

    By Simon Munnings | News | Comments are Closed | 5 February, 2016 | 0

When asked to provide a condition report on property a surveyor is obliged to deal only in fact, which becomes a problem if the surveyor is faced with information that suggests that a property is haunted. Whether a property is haunted may not be easy to prove as people often have their own thoughts as to whether supernatural being exist, and therefore any ‘evidence’, be it hearsay or a first-hand experience can be difficult to report. And more importantly should it be reported within the boundaries of a property survey? Is this more of an ethical obligation than a professional one? What would you want your surveyor to do?
